  • From Tech Pack to Sample: The Next Step for ComfyFreek Apparel

    The first ComfyFreek Apparel originals are moving forward.

    We now have a completed tech pack for our first original onesie designs. A tech pack serves as the working blueprint for a garment, helping communicate the design, construction, materials, measurements, and details needed for sampling.

    Our next milestone is receiving the vendor’s cost for producing a sample. Once we know that cost, we can decide how to move forward with sampling and evaluate the design in real life. A physical sample will help us review the fit, comfort, construction, and details before making any production decisions.

    The original ComfyFreek designs are still in development and are not available for purchase or preorder yet. We’re taking the process carefully so we can learn what works and make thoughtful adjustments before moving ahead.

    While the originals are being developed, the ComfyFreek store is open with a limited selection of current onesies from other brands and wholesale suppliers. These products are clearly presented as resale inventory. They are not ComfyFreek-designed or ComfyFreek-manufactured products.

  • From Concept to Tech Pack: The Next Step for ComfyFreek Apparel

    A new step for ComfyFreek Apparel

    When ComfyFreek Apparel first began, the goal was simple: create comfortable, practical onesies that feel like our own instead of copying what is already out there. The first stage involved exploring fabrics, silhouettes, pockets, zippers, cuffs, colors, and ways to make a onesie feel useful beyond the couch.

    That early exploration has now moved into the next stage. We are working with a vendor on tech-pack development for two original adult unisex onesie styles.

    Two styles are moving forward

    The current development styles are:

    • CFA001-01: a charcoal/gray cotton-fleeceback direction.
    • CFA002-01: a deep navy double-sided fleece direction.

    Both styles share the core design direction we have been working toward: a relaxed adult unisex fit, a hood, a two-way front zipper, an inner zipper guard, a kangaroo pocket, slanted zippered hip pockets, and ribbed cuffs. They are being developed without attached feet, with the focus on a comfortable everyday garment that can be worn at home or as part of a casual outfit.

    The public concept graphics on our Product Concepts page show the overall direction. They are not finished product photographs, final specifications, or a promise that every detail will remain unchanged.

    Sizing is being developed carefully

    The confirmed starting range is adult unisex XS through 4XL. The exact body measurements and garment measurements are still being worked out with our vendor and will need to be checked through sampling and fit testing before we publish a final size guide.

    Tall and youth versions may be explored later. They are not part of the current confirmed range, and we would rather take the time to develop those properly than publish measurements before they are ready.

    Still early—but moving forward

    There is still work ahead. Sampling, fit testing, final measurement review, pricing, production decisions, and launch timing have not been finalized. The original styles are not currently available for purchase, and we are not accepting orders or preorders.

    While the original ComfyFreek designs are being developed, the store may continue to offer selected products from other brands for resale. Those items are clearly identified separately because ComfyFreek Apparel is the retailer for those products—not the original designer or manufacturer.

  • A New Chapter for ComputerFreek’s Holdings LLC and ComfyFreek Apparel

    ComputerFreek’s Holdings LLC has officially been created in Michigan, providing the foundation for the projects and brands we plan to build over time.

    One of the first projects under the company is ComfyFreek Apparel, a clothing brand focused on comfortable, practical apparel. Our original product line, ComfyFreek Originals, is currently in development.

    We have started conversations with a manufacturer about creating a professional tech pack for our original onesie and apparel designs. A tech pack will help document the product’s measurements, materials, construction details, sizing, and other specifications needed for sampling and future production.

    This process is still in the early stages, and our original products are not available for purchase yet. We want to take the time to develop them properly and make sure the final products reflect the quality and comfort we are aiming for.

    While our original products are being developed, we are also purchasing other-branded apparel and merchandise for resale. These products will remain clearly identified by their original brands and will be presented as items resold by ComfyFreek Apparel. This allows us to begin building the store while our own product line continues through development.

    We look forward to sharing more updates as the tech pack, samples, product selection, and store continue to take shape. This is just the beginning for ComputerFreek’s Holdings LLC and ComfyFreek Apparel.
